What is Project Pages?
More than just a WordPress Portfolio Template / Porfolio Maker…
Project Pages is a WordPress plugin which lets you document and share the things you’ve made. Whether it’s a portfolio of your paintings, a collection of metalwork projects, or a log of wild experimental making. Project Pages is more than a WordPress Portfolio Template, (though it does have templates in it to help you showcase your work).

Why show your work?
Documenting the story of what you’ve made is nourishing in-of-itself. It’s also a pre-cursor to connecting the dots…
Woody Hayday
I’ve always made stuff. I grew up with a dad who was a roofer and builder, and a mother who drew. There were always materials everywhere, so naturally, I experimented.
Later, as an adult, I found that making things with my hands, (woodwork, metalwork, painting), was a great balance to the abstract nature of the software I built for a living.
I built Project Pages to showcase the things I’ve made, but along the way it showed me how important ‘making’ was for me. It helped me Connect the dots of my life.
Here’s hoping that it can help you understand yourself better, and connect to others, through the things you make.
Project Pages is for Makers
I made this for people who make stuff.
- Record your work easily – Add and edit your projects easily from within WordPress admin. You can add Titles, bi-lines, Project Links, Logs, Summary & Body content, tags, featured images and more!
- Share consistently – Easily share your projects, (which get pretty URLS like /projects/time-machine!), from right in the project editor
- Plug and play – No setup is needed if you just want to get started. Built to be low-touch for busy makers
- ‘Just Enough’ framework – To help you share your work in context without a steep learning curve. Beautiful out-of-the-box
- Build up a Portfolio of your Work – By repeating the flow of making a project page for each thing you make
- Connect the dots backwards – Seeing all of your work in one format helps you, and others, infer the larger brush-strokes of your work

Project Pages is Free
I made this WordPress portfolio plugin to house my own maker projects. It made sense to share it with you, because the world is better when we share what lights us up.
